In comparison to other reality-shifting techniques, the Julia method is a simple but effective shifting method that requires a bit of visualization.
So, if you have difficulty visualizing, here are the best shifting methods that do not need any visualization.
While scripting is necessary for the Raven method of shifting, it is not necessary for the Julia method.
However, you are free to write a shifting script and run it through it every day to imprint in your mind what reality you want to experience once you’ve successfully shifted.

Here are the 5 steps to using the Julia method for shifting to your desired reality:
Julia Method Shifting
Step 1: Put on Some Theta Waves and Meditate for 5-10 Minutes.
The first step of the Julia method is to meditate for about 5-10 minutes whilst listening to some Theta waves.
Theta waves have a frequency range of 3.5 to 7.5 Hz and are classified as “slow” waves.
It is associated with creativity, intuition, daydreaming, and fantasizing, and it serves as a repository for memories, emotions, and sensations.
Simply put, Theta waves will help in the induction of a sleep-awake state (mind awake, body asleep), which is ideal for shifting!
Also, when you meditate, you clear your mind of all thoughts.
It just gives you that extra relaxation and focus before starting with the method, which helps you go deeper into the actual method.
This is why meditation is so effective for shifting realities.
Step 2: Repeat the Words “I am” until You Experience Any Shifting Symptoms.
The next step is to repeat the words “I am” to yourself until you experience any shifting symptoms.
Now that you’ve meditated and are relaxed and calm, lie down in a comfortable position, preferably on your back.
Begin by mentally or aloud repeating the words “I am” to yourself while breathing deeply until you notice any symptoms of shifting.
Reality-shifting symptoms can be both a blessing and a curse.
On the one hand, when you get a sign, it means that you are so close to shifting and that it’s about to happen, which is great!
They can, on the other hand, be distracting and overwhelming, making it difficult to stay grounded in the method.
Some common shifting signs and symptoms are:
- Sensation of floating.
- Seeing a bright, white light.
- A racing heart.
Step 3: Count Slowly from 1-100.
The third step towards shifting realities with the Julia method is to count slowly from 1 to 100.
So, once you’ve noticed the shifting symptoms, begin to count very slowly from 1 to 100.
Remember to breathe deeply the whole process, in through your nose and out through your mouth.
This is optional but if you feel like it, you can recite either identity or shifting affirmations for every tenth number.
For example, “…8,9,10, I am shifting…18,19,20, My name is (desired reality name)…“
Continue until you feel yourself detaching from your physical body.
You should be in an ideal state by the time you finish counting; if not, repeat the method because you will eventually get there; it doesn’t matter how long it takes because everyone is different.
Step 4: Visualize your Desired Reality.
Begin visualizing your desired reality once you feel detached from your body.
Visualize what you look like, where you live, what you do in your desired reality, and so on.
Anything that helps you in thinking and feeling that you are in your desired reality.
If you struggle with visualization, ask yourself questions like, “How does my dr look like? Is your dr cold or warm? Is your bed a good fit? Who is your dr family? Is it day or night? Is there anyone speaking? Do you smell anything?”
Step 5: Open your Eyes, You Should Be in your Desired Reality.
The fifth and final step of the Julia method is to open your eyes when you feel that you have arrived in your desired reality!
You should be in your desired reality by now.
Everything from your current reality will slowly fade away.
You’ll notice a change in your surroundings, and once you’re sure you’re there, slowly open your eyes.
Welcome to your desired reality!
If you open your eyes thinking you’re there but aren’t, try scripting that your eyes will open automatically once you’ve shifted, as I’ve heard this happens to a lot of people and it might help.
As you can see, shifting with the Julia method is a pretty straightforward process.
Dealing with your own feelings, thoughts, and limiting beliefs is the most difficult part.
In the end, your success with the Julia method shifting is determined by how quickly you can eliminate your limiting beliefs and remain consistent until you shift for the first time.
